About Shalonda

Shalonda Guy is a Mental Health Specialist with COPE Behavioral Health Healthcare and a Broker with Capital Syndicate. Her coaching and training practice primarily focuses on mental health equity research for children, adolescents, and young adults. She helps others gain financial security by providing capital to help expand client’s portfolio.
 
Her training, education, and background in healthcare from LSU Health New Orleans School of Medicine. Certified Mental Health Specialists at Our Lady of the Hospital of Baton Rouge. She has a BA in Chemistry minor in Biology from Southern University A&M College of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Training from COGO Capital Residential Private Money Lender in Idaho. She is currently completing her MA in Business Management from Walden University in Minnesota.  
 
Her great passion is bringing healing to people who have experienced trauma in their life. She understands untreated trauma often leads to post dramatic stress, physical, emotional, and social dysfunctions. As a result, Shalonda desires to work closely with children, adults and families to build a positive self-image, reframing from cognitive behavior and strengthening their relationships so they can know themselves as peaceful, complete, whole and safe.
 
Her future desire is to become a motivational speaker to women. Shalonda plans to build a platform that will advocate for women transitioning out of correctional facilities. In addition, she will assist those women with obtaining employment, securing residency and providing financial resources during the process. She wants to ensure that women have access to counseling, mentoring, and physical fitness programs for a healthy well-being which will predominately make them an asset to the community.
