About Geraldine

Geraldine has over 10 years of expertise in providing social services to low-income communities. She also aids in character development and re-entry services to incarcerated men and women, helping them to realize a life of freedom and purpose.

 Other board memberships include Alliance of Men,100 Fathers, Pep Rally for Peace in the Streets, and Operation Moses Outreach Services.

 

Ms. McCarthur is an Educator and has a certification from the University of Haward in Theology and a Diploma in Executive Secretary Studies,  as well as a certificate on Child Development.

 

Ms. McCarthur staffs a host of volunteer positions to support communities of color in creating economic development and empowerment. She is passionate about working across diverse sectors to create collaborative opportunities for communities to address complex social justice issues and provide systemic change. She is highly skilled in relationship development and community relations. Ms. McCarthur can adapt to any climate, bringing energy and vibrancy to every project she supports. In her spare time, she can be heard singing at gospel and jazz engagements for local events. Her mission is to assist in developing others gifts and talents.
